Jennifer Higdon
Jennifer Elaine Higdon (born December 31, 1962)[1] is an American composer of classical music. She has been a professor of composition at the Curtis Institute of Music since 1994.[2] She has received many awards, including the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Music for her Violin Concerto[3][4] and three Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Classical Composition, in 2010, 2018, and 2020. She was elected a Member of the American Philosophical Society in 2019
